Take the first step this Thursday 3 September towards building a better future for Cairns workers and their families.
Once again, a Liberal National government is attacking the rights of workers. Tony Abbott’s Productivity Commission wants to slash penalty rates and bring back individual contracts and weaken the independent industrial umpire.
Come along on Thursday, 3 September at 5pm to the Brothers Leagues Club, 90-105 Anderson St, Manunda to hear about and help launch the campaign to build a better future and improve living standards.
Drinks and nibbles start from 5pm and the briefing begins at 5.30pm.
This is a community campaign about the issues that matter, things like workers' rights and jobs, Medicare; accessible, quality education, public services, a secure retirement and a fair go for all. Find out more about the issues.
You threw out the Newman LNP government in January 2015 – and now you can do it to the Abbott government!
On 3 September join with us to help build a better future!
